The Driving Test

Since February 14th 2005 candidates of the Irish driving test will be required to show that they understand some of the technical aspects of their car.
Candidates will be asked to open the bonnet and explain to the examiner how they would perform checks on three of the following:
- Engine oil
- Cooling
- Steering
- Brakes
- Horn
- Indicators
- Lights
- Tyres
- Reflectors
- Windscreen Washers
